The temperature in the Kgalagadi is dropping from the low 40s C to the mid and low 30s C so it is becoming easier to photograph a bit longer during the middle of the day. April will still be hot but from the beginning of May the winter starts and temperatures can drop to below freezing in one day. It is also now very busy and dusty for photographers as it is the South African school holiday season.
My photos uploaded today were taken during the end of February when it is extremely hot but the desert was covered with field flowers that made nice backdrops for animals that you don't normally see in green landscapes. These flowers only come out during short periods of good rains and disappear just as quick. The Kalahari did not disappoint me once again. Will load up more soon.
